It is important to note that communication is one of the great components in any business organization. The success of most projects greatly depends on the use of crucial communication techniques and skills. Recent studies have revealed that human interaction and communication management break or make a project. It is quite unfortunate that most people forget that project communication involves given techniques and behavior that are used to lead, delegate, motivate and give report to all the stakeholders that are working on the project. Communication managers should establish some channels of passing the message. It is also crucial that they manage these channels and improve them dramatically so as to increase their chances of success. Generally, internal communication has adverse effects on the performance of a given project. It is therefore important to note that employing highly qualified team to work on your project will not guarantee you success, but having effective communication will ensure you get the results you need. If your communication channels are not well-defined, it is possible that your project is doomed to fail. It is ironical that you can be a good manager with bad communication skills. How to Reinforce Project Communications It can be done by creating an effective plan which will facilitate the team development. A having a proper channel of communication will offer you the basis for your project team to work and understand the tasks and objectives to be accomplished. In this case it is important to note that better results can be obtained only from better performance. The plan should also be easily being adopted throughout the development process. It can start from the user requirements until the completion and reporting of the project. The plan should be made easier to update the stakeholders. This is so because regular communications ensure that the stakeholders are always on the loop. There is also a need to save on project documentation. The plan can also be used to resolve the critical issues. I have reviewed some noble projects that have fallen due failed or poor communications. It is possible that the client was totally unsatisfied on the way in which the project was managed. This is always accompanied by complaints regarding inadequate project status reports.
